"The Iranian space launcher has recently been assembled and 'will liftoff soon' with an Iranian satellite." The purported aim of their space program is eventually to orbit their own reconnaissance satellites.
What's interesting is that, with the recent Chinese anti-satellite test, the article makes no mention of the danger of a possible Iranian direct-ascent ASAT.
