Happy Birthday, Arthur C. Clarke

Ninety-five years ago today — December 16, 1917 — Arthur C. Clarke, the visionary author of many science fiction classics, was born in Minehead, Somerset, England.

Arthur C. Clarke’s legacy bridges the worlds of the arts and the sciences. His work ranged from scientific discovery to science fiction, from technical application to entertainment. And, no doubt, his work and his legacy will continue to influence and inspire people for years to come.
